This page provides an overview of the Transport Agency's investment assurance activities i.e. investment audits and investment performance measurement.
Investment audits provide assurance to the NZ Transport Agency that its land transport investments are being well managed, provide value for money and achieve their intended outcomes and benefits.
Benefits realisation assesses whether the expected benefits of an activity/programme/package are being achieved at their expected cost.
Performance measures are a part of benefit realisation reviews. They ensure monitoring of the impacts of land transport investments and are therefore an important part of project delivery.
