Rail participants must reimburse the Transport Agency for costs incurred while carrying out safety assessments. This includes a charge of $120/hr for each employee of the Transport Agency carrying out safety assessment activities and additional expenses such as travel. The agency will strive to ensure these expenses are appropriate and fair and will discuss with you as appropriate. [12(2)(external link)].
